We are not a law firm
FormationXperts is a company formation and business support service. We are not a law firm, and nothing on this website or in our correspondence constitutes legal advice.
Choosing an entity type, structuring ownership between partners, drafting agreements that will be litigated, and questions of liability are legal matters. Where yours is one, we will say so and help you engage a qualified lawyer.
We are not tax advisers
We do not provide tax advice. Information on this website about state taxes, filing thresholds and treatment of income is general orientation, not advice about your circumstances.
Your tax position depends on where you are resident, where your income is sourced, how your entity is classified federally, and the rules of your own country. Only a qualified tax professional who knows your full situation can advise you on that, and we work alongside licensed CPAs for exactly this reason.
We do not guarantee government outcomes
We prepare and file your paperwork correctly and on time. Approval, issuance and the timeline of any formation, tax identification number or registration are decided by the relevant government authority.
Processing times we quote are estimates based on typical experience, not commitments a government has made to us or to you.
We do not guarantee banking outcomes
Banking and payment services are assistance services. Whether an account is approved, what features it carries, and whether it remains open are decisions made solely by the financial provider under its own criteria.
Anyone in this industry promising you a guaranteed U.S. bank account is either misinformed or misleading you.
Fees and information change
Government fees, filing requirements, tax rates and deadlines change, sometimes with little notice. We review the figures published on this site regularly and date them, but they should be treated as indicative.
Before anything is filed, we confirm your exact cost in writing.
Forming a company does not avoid your obligations
A U.S. or U.K. company does not exempt you from tax, reporting or regulation in your country of residence, and it is not a device for concealing ownership. Beneficial ownership is reported to the relevant authorities as required by law.
We decline work where the intended purpose appears to be evasion or concealment, without exception.
External links
Where we link to a government authority, financial provider or other third party, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.
