The things people actually ask
Is the state filing fee really included?
Yes. The figure in the calculator is what it costs to get the company formed — our service fee and the state’s own filing fee together. There is no second invoice from the state afterwards.
What will I have to pay again next year?
Two things: whatever the state charges to keep the company in good standing, which the calculator shows for every state, and your registered agent renewal. We do not mark up state fees.
Why is the same package a different price in each state?
Because states charge wildly different filing fees. Our work is the same everywhere; Montana charges the state a fraction of what Massachusetts does, and that difference is passed through rather than averaged out.
Do I pay more because I am not a U.S. resident?
No. The price is the same regardless of where you live or what passport you hold. No SSN is required, and no surcharge applies.
